Description

Corrado Roi (Laveno-Mobello, Italia, 1958). Plancha nº 42 perteneciente al Dylan Dog albo gigante nº 10, titulado I peccatori di Hellborn. Dimensiones: 35 x 25 cm. Tinta china sobre cartulina. Correcciones con témpera. Firmada. Año 2001.

Significativo ejemplar de uno de los mejores dibujantes de esta serie (y de los actuales "jóvenes" historietistas italianos). El trabajo de Roi se caracteriza por el realismo del dibujo y un entintado muy personal, hecho a base de suaves difuminados que el artista consigue con el empleo de diversas técnicas: aplicación de tinta por estampación de telas, pincel seco, corrimiento de tinta, etc. Obtiene, así, unas sfumature muy efectistas y expresivas que le dan un toque bastante personal a su trabajo y recuerdan mucho (por lo vaporoso de las mismas) al genial maestro Dino Battaglia. ¡¡Me encanta!!
