Description

This is an important point in the Lizard/Bode evolution. The first time that Lizards are revealed to have male organs. Also of interest is that this is one of the few Deadbone strips that Cavalier Magazine had Vaughn change. Vaughn originally had the lizard as a priest (note-window in first panel). Vaughn changed him into a soldier by pasting over the hat, dogtags and collar insignias. You can see in the last panel the original cross on a chain around the neck where the pasted on dogtags fell off.
