DescriptionThis is one of my favorite covers and in my opinion, one of best depictions of Deathblow; it has it all, the whole team, a huge honking gun and I just love the crazy look in Deathblow’s eyes. Team 7 was a great series, I always admired Aron’s work on it and the detail in this piece is immense! It was sold in a charity auction years ago and I never thought I’d get the chance own it; I even commissioned Eric Canete to do a recreation for me. So, I think you can understand the surprise and delight when I was given it as an amazing surprise 30th birthday present from my brother and parents. Truly awesome!Social/Sharing |

somehow i knew it would be in your collection. I stupidly didn't win it at the charity auction in 2001 for $350. Arghghggh

Huge congrats on adding this baby to the collection Tom! I was also a bidder on this one and was amazed at how fast it flew up in price. I assumed it was you, but family makes sense too. They really wanted to win this for you and that is true familial love right there! Truly "meant to be" that you finally got it!

My apologies to your parents and brother for driving up the price. I thought I placed an outrageous bid to safely win this. I nearly flipped my laptop when I saw I lost. lol glad it found a good home
