Description

This is the cover of the second Tomb of Dracula omnibus released by Marvel. The variant cover to be precise as Marvel released a regular version with Colan's cover to ToD 70.

This is of course Kalman's interpretation of the well known Tomb of Dracula 70 cover mentionned above. I think he did a great job at "modernising" this iconic cover. I find the mood is perfect and I really like the fact he drew a little Dracula in the index box as well (which was not part of the actual released cover)

I absolutely love Tomb of Dracula which I only read in full recently. A masterpiece of a serie by Wolfman, Colan and preferably Palmer.

This is my way of getting a cover for the serie as those omnibi are splendid books.

Now if I could find a nice example of Colan's work on the serie...
