Description

I remember the time when i first read this work of Neil Gaiman. Published in 4 comic books by the extinct Zinco Spanish editorial in 1991 and i read them thanks to a friend that lent them me. I also remember all the time and effort useless to get a copy of those 4 depleted issues. Finally the work was returned to publish over the years and when i re-read it always i remember all those long afternoons wandering by shops of comic books on the hunt for my copy of The Books Of Magic. That also happens to me with this original comic art, because i've been since i started collecting original comic art looking for a piece like this. In the piece are John Constantine and Timothy Hunter before being attacked by the taxi driver and the game with the lights of Scott Hampton is amazing.

Recuerdo la �poca en que le� por primera vez este trabajo de Neil Gaiman. Se public� en 4 tomos por la extinta editorial Espa�ola Zinco en 1991 y pude leerlos gracias a un amigo que me los prest�. Tambi�n recuerdo todo el tiempo y el esfuerzo in�til que emple� en conseguir alg�n ejemplar de esos 4 n�meros agotados. Finalmente la obra se reedit� con los a�os y siempre que la releo me acuerdo de todas esas largas tardes vagabundeando por tiendas de comics a la caza de mi ejemplar de Los Libros de la Magia. Eso tambi�n me pasa con este original, ya que llevo desde que empec� a coleccionar originales buscando una pieza como esta. En el original aparecen los personajes de John Constantine y Timothy Hunter antes de ser atacados por el taxista y el juego de luces de Scott Hampton es increible.

Una p�gina preciosa, enhorabuena, Carlos, y m�s con la an�cdota y els ignificado que tienen detr�s. La verdad es que guardo muy buenos recuerdos de The books of Magic y Hampton es un artista estupendo.
