Description

"Do you know where imagination comes from?" This is the question that was posed to me by Underground Comix great Larry Todd after I asked for a John Carter/Dejah Thoris commission. What emerged from the mind of a very creative artist was John Carter and Tars Tarkas with Dorthy and Toto of The Wizard Of Oz. Apparently they got lost on their quest to find the Emerald City while following the yellow brick road in the great crater of Gale on Mars.

The answer to his initial question of where imagination comes from is, of course, Mars. How did Dorthy and Toto end up with John Carter? The answer lies in her name. I'll let you Google that one.

This is my second commission from Mr. Todd and I can't wait for my third.
