Descriptionoriginally slated for a 1965 issue of gold key's tarzan, this page was published in Korak Son of Tarzan 11, also from 1965. not sure on the switcheroo, but happy to know it was published. stylistically it does look marsh-esque, but it looks older than '65, so i will leave it attributed to "unknown" - although the seller thought it might be mike arens.regardless, it is a great addition to my tarzan pages, and the african music theme, doesn't hurt much either... i have to say i really like these weird informational/cultural splashes, even though they don't have any main characters on them. (see my tom mix splash of indian hand signals in my 1950's and older gallery... ) Social/Sharing |
