Marvel Knights: X-Men # 1 & Trade cover

Published by Marvel Comics - December, 2013

It has been exciting to see Marvel relaunch the 'Marvel Knight's' franchise with more indie artists and writers. Brahm Revel, creator of Guerrillas was brought on for this 5-part mini-series. Revel took the opportunity to put a few of the X-men in a small, Appalachian mountain town which he is personally familiar with and is close to home for me.

Rogue, Kitty and Logan are on the move to rescue a few young mutants who they believe are in danger. Revel created two new mutants for the series and this issue marked the first appearance of Krystal and Sheriff Jasper.
