An incredible Ghost Rider painting by Dave Devries.

I really miss seing Dave's art on a regular basis and specially in the traditional comics world. So when he put a batch of art on eBay, this was a nice occasion to add another piece of his to my collection.

This Ghost Rider got a wow out of me when I saw it on ebay. It's so intense and captures the gist of the character perfectly. Ferocious with his penance stare and frightening. I always liked the character when Ploog drew it but also found him a bit cheesy. I really fell in love with him with its 90s relaunch in which he was much more dangerous. The elongated, thiner jaw underlines that aspect, much like Venom's.

But then it got a wow out of me yet again when I received it. It is incredible in person. So alive.

Very pleased by this one as you can tell :)
