I have no idea who that guy is whispering in Hal's ear but he might have to get the dreaded patch. This was one of my favorites circa 2007. A neat Parallax splash by a stellar vintage art tandem. Hard to believe that this is twenty years old..

Good art never gets old and this look as great now as it did back then. You can't go wrong with an art team consisting of Dan Jurgens and Jerry Ordway. Oh, and that guy in the top left is TRIUMPH - a forgotten Justice League founder from an alternate timeline.

I remember this issue well, plus Jurgens and Ordway are among the most legendary DC creators ever. Nice catch!
