Ok so THIS is the piece I was supposed to get at Baltimore 2014. I set it up with Doug over at comicsketchart.com and it was actually supposed to happen at ECCC 2014. Mark didn't get to it and didn't manage at SDCC 2014 either. It wasn't a big deal. I have no issues waiting for art and frankly I didn't want there to be any pressure on Mark. He's busy enough anyway. But Doug said Baltimore was going to be THE con so I was looking forward to it.

Rose Red is one of my favorite characters in Fables... actually she's my favorite female character. I like her relationship (as tragic as it was) with Blue, but more than that I think she's a brilliant character. Snow-White and Rose-Red is actually my favorite fairytale ever, but I like this rebel take on the character. She makes mistakes (sometimes huge ones) but she tries to stay true to herself. I love her relationship with Snow and the overall complexity of the character.

I think Mark did a phenominal job with this piece and I am super grateful that he took the time to do it (especially since he did 3 pieces for me at Baltimore... yikes!). I think I've had my fix for now. Well unless we are talking panel pages... can never have enough of those!
