Description

Alison Bechdel ( born September 10, 1960) is an American cartoonist. Originally best known for the long-running comic strip Dykes to Watch Out For, she came to critical and commercial success in 2006 with her graphic memoir Fun Home. She is a 2012 Recipient of the Guggenheim award and a 2014 recipient of the MacArthur "Genius" Award

Wonderful characterization and illustration! Having such a nice example of Alison Bechdel's fine work is a rare treat, indeed.

Not sure how I missed this for so long -- I love her Dykes strip. This is a great example.
