This is the first time that you can see this original page uncensored (see the published page as attached image): No scratches on his chest, no bubbly superpower-effects coming out of her fingers, and most importantly, no top of her head in those bottom two panels. It’s still ambiguous, but the implication is much clearer: the newly-evil Scarlet Witch is giving Wonder Man a torture blowjob!!! I can just see Howard Chaykin leaning over John's shoulder as he scripted this, saying, "Yeah, that's what I'd do."
The crazy part is, you don't know whether to feel sorry for Wonder Man or be jealous...

From Byrne: "One of my "mutant powers" seems to be an ability to give readers lots of room for their own imaginations to work. Witness your own reference to the "sadistic sexual scene" between Wanda and Simon. There is nothing in the scene as written and drawn to indicate her attack is sexual or, indeed, precisely WHAT her attack is. I left that to the minds of the readers. And, largely because of this, there was nothing in that scene (or many of the others fans often refer to) for the Code to reject."
