Description

This is the original art for a card that would have been in the third DC set/expansion for the OverPower collectible card game which should have been released around 1997-98 before Marvel purchased the game from the original publisher Fleer. I couldn't pass this one up since OverPower was my first CCG, Kyle Rayner is my favorite character, and Darryl Banks is my favorite Kyle Rayner artist (not to mention one of my favorite artists in general).

Side note: unlike Marvel's OverPower sets at the time, the DC sets tried for the most part to get the artists who were either well-known for working on the character or who were currently working on the books to draw the cards. It's a real shame that this card, and the rest of the series never got printed.
