Man, this is a piece that I have coveted since 2003. I ALSMOT bought it back then too. Right as Ringo! started working on the FF, he had a personal friend of his, (and fellow CAF collector, Wallace Herrington) selling artwork for him on Ebay. I had asked if any covers were available, to which Wally had replied they werent but would let me know if they ever became available. Low and behold three months later I get an email from him letting me know Mike got some covers and splashes back from Marvel and was looking to sell them. Needless to say I jumped at the opportunity. AT the time, I ended up buying the cover to FF63, a cover quality commission, and the last page splash to FF67. I was on the fence between this one and the cover to 63, I couldnt afford them all, but as Wally wisely suggested as the time. "Youve already got the final page splash to this issue featuring Doom, might as well get the cover with the FF members." ... Those were very wise words which I followed. But didnt mean I didn't ponder the where abouts of this cover for all these years. Now it's finally MINE!!

To me, this is the cover to one of the greatest Dr. Doom stories ever told and I couldnt be more thrilled to have it in the collection. With this I can put to rest my hunt for Ringo! FF pieces...Thank you Adan for a fantastic trade!

I have a lot of good history with Wally and he IS a great guy (Adan is a pretty cool guy also)! Congrats on being able to track this one down and making it yours.
