Description

This is the cover to issue 49 of Viz. An issue that I owned as a kid and loved. Viz is one of those great British institutions like roast dinners, warm beer and queueing. It is great to have some original art form such an amazing comic and it is beautiful to behold. An underground comic that at it's height was selling over a million copies an issue.

Characters on show are: Biffa Bacon; Fatha; Sid The Sexist; Suicidal Sid; Spoilt Bastard; Morris Day (Sexual Pervert); Sandra from the Fat Slags.

Some help if at all possible - it is really hard to discern who the artists are on Viz - Chris Donald has signed it, but according to Simon Donald this was drawn by Simon Thorp.

I am surprised to see no original Viz art on CAF. I guess it is not popular with all you sci-fi / superhero loving CAFites.

Nice piece,..looks like we are the only 2 with Viz art up on CAF. We need to see Big Vern on this website!!
