Classic little Bodé broad, with trademark wandering butterfly! I notice that it's made out to David, I assume this isn't a coincidence? Did Bode draw this for you at a convention perhaps? Would love to know more...

Would love to know more...Vaughn was doing some sketches for the Air Pirates defense fund.He didn't do too many because he decided to auction himself off the next day on their behalf.To do a nice piece.The piece he did for the winner was the Lizard of Oz Cheech Wizard.

I can recall reading about Vaughn's support of the Air Pirates cause, but never knew he auctioned 'himself' off like that at the convention ...very generous, though not surprising considering his strong feelings about the rights of cartoonists etc!
