Description

Death is easily my favorite character in East of West. He's the Clint Eastwood, Man with No Name-style gunslinger making his way through the weird apocalyptic sci-fi landscape of Hickman's end times epic. When I look at this image, I feel like I'm seeing Death from the POV of a corpse at the top of a knee-high pile of his victims. This is why I love Nick's work - it's always fresh, adding his unique perspective to a polished, manga-influenced style.

East of West original art is extremely scarce, as most of it is created digitally. This is one of the few original, published covers that have come to market to date and it's my favorite. And yes, that's Zip-a-Tone (or the modern equavilent)!
