DescriptionAs a fellow countryman of Turkey, I've always wanted a piece from the legendary Yıldıray Çınar. His style is a nostalgic callback to the great Bronze Age artistry of Comics; it's really beautiful. Also, Yıldıray has yet to take a trip to Australia, so when I got a chance to get a commission as part of a pre-con setup, I naturally jumped at the opportunity.I tried to think of a character that would suit and maximise Yıldıray's unique commission style, and realised that I'd never asked for a Gladiator/King/Planet Hulk design yet for a commission, and this is one of Marvel's greatest stylisations in the last decade. As you can see, Yıldıray just smashed the item (like Hulk) to pieces, and this pieces now stands one of the crown jewels in my collection. The colour is so much more vibrant in person, that the scan won't do it justice. There is an extra W.I.P. photo below that Yıldıray posted to Instagram whilst doing the piece. A big thank you always to fellow Aussie collector Alexandre Henry for arranging & collecting this piece on behalf; my hat goes off to you.
