Description

A hauntingly beautiful Batman lovingly rendered by the master himself, Kelley Jones. A HUGE thanks goes out to Ari C. Shapiro Esq. for helping to get a piece by Kelley in to my collection. It took me over twenty five years but I finally got a Batman by Kelley Jones. Thanks Kelley and Ari, you're both swell!

Kelley is the King of the Bat to me, but this one is just special. The use of black and white space is astounding, and that brow tells an entire story

That's the word I was looking for: unique. Despite the number of years Kelley has worked on the Bat....despite the number of times he has drawn him, he still manages to create something truly unique here

So cool! To me, this piece combines a wonderfully captivating Rorschach inkblot element (ie, Batman's ears visible only by inference) and a film noir qualities (ie, Frank Miller Sin City). Congrats!
