DescriptionAny cover by George Perez is fun to work with but this is a powerful image and helped our story-line move seamlessly to a darker & deeper level. We mentioned last week that there is a process that goes in indoctrination. Isolating your loved ones a la Bouncing Boy in Chapter 5 and this process, cutting all ties to your past life or in the case of the woman warrior of Cragg..all your past incarnations & multiple lives. And so the net is drawn ever tighter around Duo. John Watson & Russell Payne have poured their heart & souls into these pieces and it shows. Enjoy Aidan Social/Sharing |

Another winner---absolutely exquisite! Also, that tweaking of the Legion logo is awesome!

I'm going to be really sad when John's run on these Legion covers is over! This is the best so far!

Although some people may be into Perez's hyper detail on rocks, I like how John captured the essence of it without going nuts. And the rest of the art seems to be more in John's style.

John did great on a Perez cover, the fine detail is there and the idea of the image is quite clear, you almost don't need the words. That is good storytelling in the art. And my favorite outfit of Dou is the featured one is the background. well done and keep them coming. I don't go to the comic shop each week anymore, so this is my Comic highlight every week! A Legion story I look forward to each week. Thanks Aiden and crew!
