Description

This is one of the setting drawings that Umakoshi san drew in developping the animated serie.

I was one of the lucky winners at a draw during his presence at Made in Asia 2015. He graciously donated a few of those for the lucky fans. So unlike many of that kind of animation pre-production art, it not "attributed" to him, I know for a fact that it was all drawn by him. On top of that he signed those as well.

The piece itself is fantastic to me as it's totally in tone with the serie itself. The main character, in a melancholic mood, complete with his famous cigarette which plays a special role in the serie. It's perfect!

Very lucky and excited to own a true drawing from on of the very top animators and character designer in Japan right now.
