DescriptionLast we heard from our hero, he had changed settings and those closest to him were concerned about the regression of his demeanour to his normal agitated state. But enter the Piestany Spa management, which left a certificate for a free sulphur thermal mud bath on MODOK's pillow. Piestany Spa is world-renowned for its mud and other therapeutic capabilities. Here's an excerpt from their site, "The Health Spa Piestany have long tradition of treatment and internationally recognised reputation. It is the most outstanding Slovak spa for treating diseases of locomotive organs, certain organic nervous disorders, post-traumatic conditions and conditions after orthopaedic operations. It belongs to the finest anti-rheumatic spas in Europe and is known for its excellent medical care and treatment results. The Spa invites more than 30,000 guests annualy from countries from all over the world, e.g. Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Holland, Poland, Czech Republic, U.S.A., Canada, Australia, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, etc. The natural therapy is based on use of thermal gypseous sulphide waters and famous sulphur thermal mud. Following are the basic treatment methods applied in Piestany Spa: balneotherapy (thermal water used for tub and pool baths; healing mud applied in the form of overall or partial mud packs), kinesitherapy (functional rehabilitation motion treatment), physiatrics - hydrotherapy (under-water massage, whirlpool bath, bead bath, scottish squirts), electrotherapy, phototherapy, and mechanotherapy (massages of all kinds)." Inquiries thus far surrounding possible maladies to MODOK's locomotive organs have gone unanswered, though I intend to persist on this subject. What I do have to report today is the outcome of MODOK's balneotherapy. Provided here is the BEFORE BALNEOTHERAPY picture showing a close-up of MODOK's face. You'll notice some areas have been particularly well protected due to the sun burn. I'll be posting the AFTER picture shortly so that you may see for yourself the outcome.Social/Sharing |

You got me, Guilty as charged... I had a blast at the Piestany Spa working on MODOK... but that mud does tend to leave prints!
