Description

Torquemada lives! Of course he does - what deviant could ever hope to defeat the most evil man who ever lived? More of the deranged imaginings of the much-missed John Hicklenton, as he tackles a wonderfully demented Torque, newly freed from the armour in which he was encased and undoubtedly still basking in the glow of Thoth's murder.

I've said before how there's a real gap between what Hicklenton drew and what made it into print, but in the case of this page, it's less a gap, more a bottomless chasm. In printed form, the armour is quite different, many of the details are entirely lost, and the... ahem... spurting extremity in the bottom right-hand corner has been largely excised. Brother Mikron, I assume, was particularly happy to see the Grandmaster that day.

But aren't we all?
