Description

I was saddened to learn of Alan Kupperberg's passing on July 16 at the age of 62 from thymus cancer. He and I spoke and traded emails on several occasions and he never mentioned that he was ill. I did an interview with Alan about his work on the Incredible Hulk newspaper strip, of which I am a big fan, and he did a couple of commissions for me, the last of which was this Iceman piece, which will be my Christmas card this year. Alan had worked on a lot of favorite comics over the years. He will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences to Paul and the Kupperberg family.
