I was lucky to have met Ken this year, and I picked this piece up at SDCC '15.

A friend of mine recommended him to me just before I headed out to the convention, and I immediately tried contacting Ken to pick up a commission piece at the show. Unfortunately, I missed getting on his list, but was able to get an awesome sketch from him. This piece was an added bonus, because as I flipped through his portfolio it just screamed out "You need this in your collection!"; lol.

And after talking to Ken in person, who was such a nice guy all around, not only did I get a great sketch, and not only did I get a great interior page, but he allowed me to get on his personal commission list to get something done for me when he gets the time (yay!)

I really look forward to collecting his work in the upcoming years. Because not only does he have a killer art style, and not only does he channel Turner's look, but catching an artist this good relatively in the beginning of their career means that I can watch his style grow while he produce's even more amazing pieces as time goes by =)

As far as I know, this piece has only appeared/been published in Jirni, volume 2, issue #1
