DescriptionThis original painting by Welsh artist Anthony Williams was used for the cover of The Real Ghostbusters Monthly #1, a comic book of collected Marvel UK stories that was published in November 1990.Gaze long enough at this nighttime Halloween scene, with its wispy clouds and its silhouetted houses moodily lit by the moon, and you'll almost begin to taste the hot apple cider and Milky Ways. The artwork answers the question of what the Ghostbusters would dress up as if they ever went out trick-or-treating. Egon puts on a wizard costume, while Ray's a ghost, Winston's a devil, and Peter's a vampire. Even Slimer joins in on the festivities, donning werewolf gloves. One can only imagine how much the little spud will act the part when he finds that apple and banana stuffed in his bag! Social/Sharing |
