Description

This is a daily from early in the Simon Ware story. For a comic strip about a model, there are very few examples involving modeling. Here Carol is scouting a location for a photo shoot with Australian photographer and future fiancee Joe Wilson. The reader learns that they are not alone. Fine work all around in this daily, with good light and shadow, storytelling, figure and landscape treatments. As with all Carol Days, this art is drawn on illustration board. This is in the second half of in the feature's run, so the logo and strip number are both paste ups. Both the image and board are in excellent condition. There are impact dents in 3 corners and a small dust shadow in the lower border.
