Description

Harry Barton: Gothic Romance Book Cover Illustration (undated). Signed. Harry Barton was one of the masters of the "woman running away from a house" Gothic Romance genre of cover paintings. It's a castle on a spooky cliff this time, and the woman looks enchanting in her purple gown. Gouache on illustration board, 20" x 30". The back is marked "#15", which could be a book number in a series.
