Description

I'm thrilled to add this piece to my collection.

It's a watercolor featuring the main characters of the story Plutona by Jeff Lemire (writer) and Emi Lenox (artist/painter).

Plutona is an interesting story described by Image as "Five kids discover the body of the world’s greatest super hero, Plutona, in the woods after school one day. This discovery sends them on a dark journey that will threaten to tear apart their friendship and their lives."

I'm a fan of Jeff Lemire's writing and Emi did a great job on the art.

This painting was the first published image of the book used in the initial promotions and it is the cover of the trade.

Update: The "snow" in the picture was achieved by sprinkling salt on the watercolor paint. It thought that was interesting.

Update: The movie rights to Plutona have been sold. No doubt that will make this piece hugely valuable. :)

I hated that I couldn't be at ECCC for this EXACT reason. I wanted to buy this piece from her when she said she would be bringing pages. She said if it didn't sell I could have it... Clearly... it sold. Well, if you ever part with this or trade etc. let me know and also, congrats.
