Description

This is an interesting commission--and also the second of two versions. Kevin Glover of
FracturedScaryTales.com hired me to do a cover for the soon-to-be-released Fractured Scary Tales #2. These are the lines for it.

The idea was a play on Alfred Hitchcock's Birds cover, but featuring Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. We went through quite a few stages to get to this point, but the key was to not lose the whimsy of it. On my first run, I'd executed the piece a little too darkly, too sinister. So we ended up redoing it and came up with this.
