WEIRD TALES OF THE FUTURE #7 3D shadowbox paper sculpture for Mike Blanchard 2014
Original art by Bernard Baily 1953

This large 3D was commissioned in 2015 by Mike Blanchard, owner of THE CORE COMIC &GAME shop in Cedar Falls, IA.

Prior to working on the 3D, Mike had PS Artbooks create a high resolution image of the old comic cover for my use since he requested the 3D shadowbox to be a large scale (11x14 inch) version of the cover. It was to be big and impressive.. The 3D is almost 10 inches deep.
The project took over 80 hours spread over 4 months.
