Description

This sketch (pencilled and inked) is most likely a preliminary drawing done by Kaluta in 1966 for the first issue of the fanzine Graphic Showcase which was first published in 1967. Kaluta illustrated both the cover and a Warlord of Mars story titled "Eyes of Mars". It's been 50 years since he drew this sketch, but the composition and layout design still say "Kaluta".
