Description

So begins one of the loftiest jam commission ideas I've ever seen.

This began as an idea I tossed out to Richard Case on Facebook before Heroescon. It was originally going to be 11x17 or 12x18... well the final is enormous at around 16x20 on beautiful watercolor paper.

The idea was to depict Morpheus' gallery with Merv dusting. Richard added in tremendous detail and a Matthew cameo! He even offered to shade the room and figures once the piece was completed!

Each frame in the gallery is for one of the ORIGINAL artists on the series to finish with portrait of a member of the Endless.

EDIT 9/8/16- So this bad boy has been around a few cons now. I was lucky enough to have a friend go to SDCC. It was a mad rush shipping this thing out when Bachalo announced he would be there on Saturday. Getting Mckean, who was also at the con, was just the absolute best surprise I could have gotten. Major props to Josh!!

I was able to get Hempel and Thompson on the piece at Baltimore and Boston, respectively. I said before I was going to try for Sam Kieth at Boston; but his flight was delayed and I was leary to ask him about doing an Endless other than Dream (Mckean had already done him at SDCC.) You can't win them all! Overall though, super happy with how this piece has shaped up so quickly. Now filling up the last three will be the hard part...
