Description

Reading "Preacher" for the first time was such a breath of fresh air from any other American Comics I was reading at 22. Though the series gets a little rocky later on, I truly believe the way it sets off its story telling so quick and swiftly remains one of the best set ups I've read so far in American, British and European comics.

After years of waiting for the TV series, what we eventually got in 2016 has been an average show with every following episode moving so slowly and characterization changes unfortunately not for the better. A real shame as I found that the talent behind it, casting and acting has been stellar, that in particular of its three leads. I very much enjoy how Dominic Cooper has portrayed Jesse so far, and I hope with the following season things move a lot faster.
