Description

Nick Pitarra of The Manhattan Projects fame visited Bedrock City Comic Company today. I stopped by to say, "Hi."

I first met Nick at Space City Comic Con when it was held at the Westin Hotel in the Galeria. He talked me into buying his new comic - Manhattan Projects. I'd meant to put it on my pull list, but forgot and had missed out on the first five issues or so. His sales pitch was irresistible. I bought the issues from him and was hooked.

At this signing, he had some freebie sketches and I picked up this one of The Penguin. He has an unusual style with a number of influences - Moebius, Quitely, Darrow, and more. I think he could do a dark and gritty Batbook.

There was something else, but I can't post it for now. Suffice it say that is it very a cool thing.
