Description

These two pages were purchased directly from Mr. Townsend, whose inking prowess is par excellence. Meeting him was the highlight of my San Francisco Con experience. He mentioned that it was the first time that the artwork from that book was offered for sale, and that I was the first person to have the opportunity to purchase from that batch. I have been wanting to see a 'Townsend Page' in real life, and voila, here it is. Love it.

I love the new Doctor Strange comics and the look that Townsend and Bachalo have given to them and this splash is a prime example! Great choice! :)

I've gotta pic up a Doc Strange by Chris! The subject matter really lends to Chris's sensibilities AND Tim's intricate yet organic line work. Definitely on display here. Congrats!
