Description

It's been a year since I got anything from Ian Dorian, but thankfully he was at the same booth on the showroom floor as his brother Guy, so this made sketch shopping easier.

The Sleep Master is a creature from the 32nd GYG book, "It's Only A Nightmare!" He's some sort of entity the reader character keeps meeting in his dreams, telling him the waking world is the actual dream and vice versa. He can take on different forms and might either be an ally or enemy depending on the path. The cover art made him look like a kind of creepy Sandman-esque monster.

I literally almost started crying when I saw how gorgeous and terrifying this sketch was as Ian completed it for me. And I love the added detail of the Sleep Master clutching the blanket as he does on the cover.
