Description

I was surprised when I found out Annie Mok was doing portraits at Comic Arts Brooklyn today. I was planning on getting an autograph from her (she wrote an amazing story for Vertigo's "The Witching Hour" anthology issue back in 2013) and was pleasantly surprised.

Princess Ugg, well, her real name is Princess Ulga, is the main character in a wonderfully done series written and drawn by Ted Naifeh from Oni Press. It analyzes and deconstructs fairy tale tropes and looks into femininity and diplomacy. I don't think my description does it any kind of justice, but it's a really good comic.
