Description

Dateline: 2 Million BC

Archaeologists have discovered fossilized remains of a previously unknown species of a man-like primate in the American mid-west.
Further evidence shows that this primitive tribe had mastered a mysterious energy source, the fragments of which have now been depleted of energy over 2 million years.

The US Government has sequestered the use of Rip Hunter's Time Sphere in order for Task Force X to travel back in time and pick up more intelligence on this energy source.

Once the Squad arrive in prehistoric times, the are seen as hostile aliens by the inhabitants. The primates organize a stampede of woolly mammoths to destroy the Squad and the Time Sphere.

Can the Squad survive this attack?
