Description

I am not sure why there has been a European fascination with cowboy culture and the wild west. I suspect it must have sprung from the Spaghetti Western films. Although best recognized for his erotic work on the character Druuna, Serpieri illustrated an entire series on �The Story of the West.� If you ever get a chance, the detail and quality of the work in the series is really fantastic. This piece is a very nice representation of Serpieri�s ink work. The detail in the old Indians face speaks of skin long exposed to the elements and wrinkled wisdom. I haven�t translated the conversation, but I absolutely LOVE this piece. Thanks to BB for being willing to part with it.
