Description

Dateline: 1961

Earth is on the verge of an alien invasion. Task Force X has made first contact with the invaders - The Krell. The Krell are a very competitive race and live by a code of sportsmanship and physical one-on-one combat.
The Krell have made an offer to have an Earth champion of their choosing battle their champion in an Earth sport. If the Earth champion wins, the Krell will withdraw their forces. If the Krell wins, Earth will be a colony of the Krell Empire.

The Krell have chosen Rick Flag as their champion. Rick has chosen the sport of boxing (as Rick was a golden-gloves boxer, back in the day).

Furthermore, Hugh Evans has been selected to be the referee, Jess Evans is Risk's coach and Karin is the ring-girl.

This is an intergalactic event and many alien races from throughout the known galaxy have been invited ringside.

Can Rick defeat the Krell champion? There are some friends in the audience: Adam Strange and Tomar-Re (who is off-duty from the Green Lantern Corps) -- perhaps they can lend a hand...
