Description

A very nice 2/3 splash from Stormwatch 0, the first sequential published pro job by Scott Campbell who would rise to superstardom later, thanks to his work on Gen13.

His work, though a bit crude, is already very strong while showing room for improvement. I loved the fact that it was more cartoony in those days. He retained that aspect in his art but polished it so much, it's not as evident these days.

A very nice example of early Wildstorm history.

Multiple inkers were credited for the issue but I would go for Alex Garner.

Ps:the page was previewed in full in Inside Image 6 back in 1993.

Great pickup, Fred! When I owned a page from this I was told that Sal Regla inked JSC and Alex Garner inked Brett Booth, then they switched after this one issue and became pairs who went on to other titles together. But either way, it was an explosive debut for JSC and Brett! Huge congrats, buddy!
