Description

James Sherman's short run drawing Legion of Super-Heroes in the late 1970s is still very well-regarded all these years later. In only his second issue on the series, #226, Sherman penciled "The Dazzling Debut of Dawnstar" which introduced the beautiful winged Legionnaire. Sherman's depictions of Dawny were stunning. I was thrilled to obtain this lovely pencil head sketch of the character from Sherman at the Big Apple Comic Con.
