DescriptionA very nice & splashy Vigilante page from impeccable storyteller Rick Leonardi with John Stanisci on inks.The main attraction here is the splashy Batman kicking Vigilante out of an assassination attempt. I absolutely love how Mr Leonardi drew Bat's cape going all the way up to the border of the page. It makes for a great effect and again perfect body language here from all characters. From the way the Bat kicks Vigilante, gliding down from above, to how Vigilante's body is impacted by it. The inks by Stanisci are an interesting combination over Leonardi here. They add much more grit to his pencils at a time when mr Leonard’as art has become looser. If I had to think theoretically, I wouldn’t have easily paired them but from the result, it works quite well imho. Social/Sharing |
