Description

Out of a very successful and high quality read line, the very best Valiant title for me so far remains Harbinger written by Joshua Dysart.

And the very best artists working on the title have been Kari Evans and Clayton Henry.

Here we have a very nice Toyo Harada page, the very charismatic shades of grey villain in the Valiant universe (think Magneto) surrounded by his lieutenants as the Harbingers are moving to expose him and his plans to the public.

Clayton’s pencils are so tight and precise, the art was printed directly from them. I remain constantly in awe of his art, the attention to body language, facial expressions and plain storytelling.

Here the arguing between the Harbinger is excellent and the determination on Harada’s face speaks volume.

A great page from a great great artist.
