Description

(22" x 14 1/2") Original Practice/Pre-Lim comic page from the story "The Master vs. the Pupil", appearing in Batman issue #34 (April 1946). While this page is unsigned, Dick Sprang is the credited artist for this story, with inks possibly by George Roussos, and was likely a practice run page before the final version was penciled and inked. Pre-lim pages from the Golden age era are exceptionally rare, as paper was a valuable commodity during war-time. A very unique piece!
