DescriptionA great page from first issue of the crossover Infinity which was part of Hickman’s Avengers magnum opus of a run.I loved Jim’s art on the Illuminati serie he drew for Bendis, especially his rendition of Black Bolt which I found powerful and quite convincing. And the splashy middle panel here fills that spot quite nicely for me. Here we have the first page of a two pages sequence in which Black Bolt releases the terrigen mist on earth to activate all the dormant Inhumans. That particular part of the plot at the end of serie didn’t seem so important when I read it but little did I know it would become such an important fact that would help shape the Marvel Universe for years after. The presence of Lockjaw is a welcomed bonus ;) As always great pencils by Jim. The page is pure pencils. See the additional image for back of the pages prelims by Jim. Social/Sharing |

That's a great BB shot - Jim's depiction of the character is one of the best! Congrats!
