DescriptionThis 11" x 11" original acrylic painting was used for the front slipcase cover of the Nickelodeon home video release Doug (1991-1994) Volume 2: "Patti, You're the Mayonnaise For Me." Underground artist Gary Hallgren, a member of the infamous Disney-satirizing countercultural group known as the Air Pirates, composed the artwork on Bristol board.The VHS box set, which Sony Wonder distributed to stores in August 1993, collects three "Patti-packed" episodes of the Nicktoon ("Doug Out in Left Field," "Doug's Dinner Date," and "Doug's Fair Lady"), plus two bonus music videos ("Shout Your Lungs Out" by The Beets and "Bangin' On A Trash Can" by Doug's Garage Band). No self-respecting nineties kid's video collection was complete without at least one funky orange-colored Nickelodeon cassette tape! Social/Sharing |
