Description

Stunning art by Mike Deodato JR, at first sight the page may appears as realized by a traditional pen and ink technique, but in reality It's not inked, It's "all pencils", in other words in his: "Hulk", "Thunderbolts" and "Dark Avengers" runs the Deodato' s pages has been digitally colored directly on his finished and solid black pencils. Personally I think It's a very pity that the brazilian artist today has totally abandoned this style because his pages realized by this technique were incredibly powerful and evocative and the experience of seeing the original art is really great. This piece measures 10 x 17 inch ( about 28,5 x 43 cm) the classic USA format.

Wow! Hard to believe this is pencil only - it might a sight in person! All of the shading/rendering he applied on the Venom figure must've taken awhile and it shows. Congrats!
